Digital Microfilm Scanner

The Library has purchased a new digital microfilm scanner for the genealogy room.  The new scanner reads both 16 mm and 35 mm microfilm rolls, microfiche, and negatives.  It uses Windows XP© operating system which allows users to search and browse maps, census records, and local newspapers from the library’s collection dating from 1806.
